I'm an Information Technology professional with over fifteen years of international experience living in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. I'm from Cádiz, Spain.

I'm married to Chilean artist Pamela Rojas and we have two sons, Daniel Duran and Ian Duran

Some of my interests are: open source software, computer and network security, web publishing, life and evolution, human brain and consciousness, ants, close-up magic, human rights, learning and teaching, and the Roman Empire. (Well, not really but sounds good).
